MetalCraft History

- Originated in 1951
- Manufacturing camping tent frames with aluminum tubing
- Was a division of Kellwood Corporation from 1960's thru mid 1980's
- Diversified into many other markets and metal operations in the 1980's
- Became employee-owned independent company in 1989
- Completed facility expansion in 1996 - Now total about 90,000 sq ft
- Acquired by Tubular Steel Inc in 2004 - eight regional pipe & tubing warehouses coast to coast
